VP Business Development

USA -Location flexible (Bay Area, southern CA, Washington DC) / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT / FULL-TIME


To support our extensive engagements and significant growth, we are looking for a VP Business Development with experience in the space industry to join our team. 

What you will be doing

  • Lead the company's business go-to-market strategy 

  • Identify relevant opportunities and customers

  • Build relationships, win deals and manage deal flows with customers on the forefront of the space industry 

  • Have major impact on shaping the business offering of the company with a direct contribution to the product strategy


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field

  • 7+ years of proven experience in a sales or business development role in the space industry

  • Strong knowledge in engineering and manufacturing of space systems

  • Established networks of relevant contacts in the space industry.

  • Highly effective and professional verbal and written communication and negotiations skills 

  • Strong leadership and proven ability to establish partnerships and penetrate new segments and accounts

  • Independent, motivated “doer” with a demonstrated track record of pursuing and closing complex, high-value deals

  • Experience working in a fast-paced international organization and managing geographically dispersed teams. 


  • Strong understanding of satellite communication/remote sensing

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of commercial and government satellite programs.
